The Love Food is a digital project focused on creating content related to food and healthy lifestyles, and is responsible for processing the personal data collected therein.
The processing of personal data by The Love Food complies with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing the Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).
Through this privacy policy, The Love Food informs you about the nature, scope, and purpose of the personal data it collects, uses, and processes.
COLLECTION AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

Personal data collected by The Love Food is processed as follows:
COOKIES
We collect cookies, which are small text files placed on your hard drive by a web page server. We use this data to carry out statistical studies that allow us to verify the growth of traffic on the blog and the main interests of our readers. This collection is done anonymously, which means that we cannot correlate the statistical data with an identified or identifiable person. This processing and information is collected using software from Google Analytics.
The data provided will not be entered into any other database without the express consent of the data subject, nor will it be transferred to other entities.
NEWSLETTER
At The Love Food, visitors have the opportunity to subscribe to newsletters. We collect your email address using the platform ConvertKit (in accordance with the GDPR). In order to have a legal basis for processing this data through your consent, we use a double verification process, i.e. the data subject will receive a confirmation email upon registration and will only be added to the database after verifying this email.
For the purpose of revoking consent, a corresponding unsubscribe address can be found in each newsletter (there is a fixed unsubscribe link in the footer). The data subject may also request the complete removal of stored data by sending an email to info@thelovefood.pt.
The Love Food regularly sends its subscribers newsletters with content about workshops, events, show cooking, offers, exclusive recipes, monthly summaries, and other relevant content on the topics of food and healthy living.
DATA STORAGE
Personal data collected by The Love Food will be stored, taking the technical and organisational measures deemed sufficient for its security, for the legally required period and/or for the period during which the purpose for which it was collected remains valid.
PERSONAL DATA RIGHTS
Requests for access, rectification, transfer and/or deletion of personal data may be made by email to info@thelovefood.pt. Data may only be deleted if its processing is based on consent and provided that it is not necessary for the fulfilment of legal and/or contractual obligations. In cases where data processing is based on consent, this consent may be withdrawn by communicating this intention to info@thelovefood.pt.
The data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
